All students are expected to meet the minimum graduate student entrance requirements of the ARTC University site where they intend to carry out their program of studies.  Generally, these requirements include:
  1. Successful completion of a four-year Bachelor’s degree or Bachelor’s degree with Honours.
  2. A minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (equivalent to a “B” or 75%).
  3. Evidence of proficiency in the English Language (both written and spoken), as defined by the student’s anticipated home university.
Applicants applying to the Memorial University site should also:
  • Secure a faculty member in the Division of Community Health & Humanities (where ARTC is housed at the Memorial site) to be a supervisor should you be successful in the application process. It is recommended that students contact potential supervisors before submitting their application and fees. Core Faculty profiles can be viewed here:
  • Be prepared to submit a ½ page to 1 page research abstract of intended research if being recommended to the program
NOTE: Successful completion of an undergraduate statistics course is an asset.
