ADMISSION
REQUIREMENTS
All
students are expected to meet the minimum graduate student entrance
requirements of the ARTC University site where they intend to
carry out their program of studies.
Generally, these requirements include:
-
Successful completion of a four-year Bachelor’s degree or Bachelor’s degree with Honours.
- A minimum cumulative grade point average (GPA) of 3.0 (equivalent to a “B” or 75%).
- Evidence of proficiency in the English Language (both written and spoken), as defined by the student’s
anticipated home university.
In addition to the above, applicants for the Ph.D. program
are normally required to demonstrate advanced standing in
health services research or a related field of study, through
completion of a Master’s of Applied Health Services
Research, or an equivalent combination of research training
and professional experience.
Students should be advised that applications for admission
to graduate programs are often highly competitive, and that
actual admission standards in any year may exceed the minimum
requirements outlined above.
Please Note: Selected candidates for the ARTC program must reside in Atlantic Canada.
Preference for selection is as follows:
1. Applicants from Atlantic Region
2. Applicants from the rest of Canada
3. Applicants from outside Canada
